Posted for pendamuse's amusement

Since I won't be here to cook (again!), I put a beef round roast in the crockpot with terryaki and onions. Then peeled and cut up potatoes, added fresh thyme and bay, fresh ground pepper and a smattering of dill, turn it in some oil and stuffed it in the fridge with a note for the youngun detailing what temp and time to put it in the oven.

Aren't you proud of me?

(We have frozen veggies to steam to go with it. So there.)

Effort requires forethought. No wonder I hate it.

The Man, also a classically trained chef I should add, decided to make stew yesterday while I was working.

It is the worst thing I have tasted coming out of our crockpot ever. No really it's that bad. Anyway - yours sounds lovely.

They told me it was good. I reheated when I came home, but he neglected to add the sauce. It was good, I was too lazy to find the leftover sauce. I don't taste much of what I eat these days anyway. I just eat to take my meds. I hope yours was wonderful. :-)
