Gratitude Project 2010 - catch up post!

Ok, so I missed a few. *cough*

Friday - I worked and I was very grateful for the end of the work day because I was beat down, in pain, and in dire need of a day off.

Saturday - a lovely breakfast out with my daughter. We've had little time to catch up chat the last few months, so yay!

Today - I am grateful for a long slow sunny day where I read a good novel most of the day. I sat outside, I stretched out on the couch inside. I relaxed and it was good. :-)

YAY for getting some relaxation. I worked really hard all weekend on accomplishing that one little thing. And, you will be so proud of me--I did it.

Oh, and I wasn't at Ritual last night because I was with Dad. Priorities. I have to begin to set my boundaries. Even Zon yips at me, and he is not a yipper--so I must have been spreading myself way too thin.

Is there any change you and hubster can make it to the wine festival one day?

Relaxation was awesome. I'm glad I went to ritual as Joy twisted and sprained her ankle right beforehand, went to be seen, and was put on crutches so Joe could not lead it. He raced into the church at 7, handed over the ritual with a heartfelt apology. The papers he handed me were much shorter than the ritual he had planned because he had a mediation in his head he was going to do, etc. So very bare bones, and 20-some people there, but we applauded his effort even though he couldn't be there to hear it. lol

No to the wine fest - Ty's birthday this weekend, work next weekend, Columbus the weekend after that.

I'm glad you got some rest. :-)

I love Lammas. It's one of my favorite rituals. I was there in spirit as I shared the fruits of the first harvest with Dad, including his first batch of Merlot. OMG. He outdid himself.

Bummer about Joe. Bless your heart for taking over. Wow, 20-some peeps. That is amazing for Lammas. LOL And now I feel guilty I set a boundary for myself. You could have used the help.

Lammas seems to get a decent turnout and I'm not sure why. Maybe because it is the first harvest festival and people are ready by August to start moving towards the dark part of the year.

No biggie about not showing up. It was pretty bare bones as he had parts of it in his head, not on paper. Garth and Janette each did part of the readings and volunteers were plentiful for quarters and Goddess/God invocations.

So ... will there be any of that Merlot at the Labour Day picnic? ;-)
