42nd LJ entry from firefly124

So not only is the meaning of life, the universe, and everything 42, but your 42nd LJ entry is supposed to define the meaning of your individual life.

And now we know why I chafed at the thought. Look how freakin' slow I got!

#5 - The Sacred Round by Ellen Hawke. Good "one step past beginner" book. Maybe because The Spiral Dance was the first book I read and have never read $RW and the like I have an odd perception of what constitutes beginner. When I first started asking for what to read to find out where my spirituality in the world of religions, oh, a mere 4 years ago I guess it was, I was told Spiral Dance was the first one to read. From what I've read since it's seems not to be a beginner's book in the same sense as some others, but not having read the others what the hell do I know? ;-)

The Sacred Round is a good read nonethless with straightforward exercises that allow you to go deeper into your magical practice. How deep depends on how often you do the exercises and how far you push yourself. No nonsense attitude about divination, magic, and spellwork in general. I'm glad I read it.
