heh heh heh
Vicki has sparkling eyes and that deep sense of comfort in who she is (and she's realy really nice). I was so happy to meet her! Woot! Sadly, I was about out of energy and sanity when they arrived Saturday 'cause it was that kind of week. It felt great to unwind at dinner and be real with people I've been dying to meet for a long time. :-)
Jax's daughter Liana was delightful! And you all can imagine Jax, online or offline, same person - sweet and pretty. Maybe next time we get together we can talk magic. The first time is the chitchat, get-to-know-you thing. I got to hear Jax talk about NYC and Vicki knowing exactly where she meant, but it was conversation that was inclusive, not with me be talked around, so you know you're in fine company where the conversation just flows like that.
I tried to get them out of the parking garage and when one exit was blocked did many useless around and around only to finally find the *wrong* exit. Ha! I'm such a dork.
I smoked a ton of cigarettes and my lungs cried that night.
And yet it was wonderful to meet both of them. Thank you so much for driving down. :-)
