Gratitude Project 2008

Yesterday - for a tolerable day at work and ye olde ear infection breaking open once again. :P~

Today - for the numerous volunteers who stepped up at my CUUPs group to help lead, co-lead, bring cakes and ale, lead classes, etc. The 4 member leadership team needs a bit of a break and the attendees need to grow and stretch in their spiritual path. So w00t!!! Here's to asking and then receiving!

What an awesome way to end the Gratitude Project!

I am going to try to not stop posting. I can't say it will be daily, but .... I don't want to go back into hermit mode right now. :-)

Well, I know it hard for you when you break the fast or don't fast, but this year has been so better than the last two! You should be proud, Lily.

What a great way to end the Project!! There is no CUUPs close (within 2 hours), but there is a nice UU Fellowship. The local ATC Wiccan coven uses their facilities for rituals.

I really understand about the ear infections - I was one of "Those Kids." Ugh. I had ear infections all the time. My favorite thing was when the ear drum would burst. Sure, it hurt alot, but just for a second and then much of the pain went away.

And I will put my voice with Lilly --> Keep posting. We really love to have you around more. Saves wear and tear on worrying about how you are doing. :P

I am sorry you were one of those kids. My middle child was too and the poor dear had a number of them before I even knew! He would be miserable and congested in the head and then he'd get better. One time I took him to the doc and she said "ear infection, and he's had a bunch because he is getting some scarring on his eardrum." I replied"Huh???" (like the good parent that I was). My daughter had never had one - I didn't know the signs an infant gave, one of which is rolling their head back and forth! He did the tubes when he was older and everything.

I had no ear infections until this year and now I've had four. *grumble* lol I guess I should just shut up, though, because years prior I got lung infections instead of ear infections. You know what is really weird? Almost all the shit happens on the left side of my body. The horrible headaches I used to get? Left side. The ear infections? Same. Lung infections started there, too. Poor wee left side. :P~

We formed our CUUPs group at this church, there were none in PA at the time. So if you're feeling ambitious, in your spare time .... hahahahaha

I will try to not disappear. The gratitude project gave me something to talk about. But I will try. Thank you. :-)

You could always join Project Commentary (if you read my postings hehe)

And always nice when people step up to help, letting others take a break.
